Industry has changed considerably. Whether it has improved is a difficult question, and no one seems to have settled on an answer.
What is certain is the volume. We have been handed smart tools and agents that absorb large parts of our work, and enough leverage that one contributor can now cover ground that used to need a team. AI moved into the development cycle fast, and it is quietly redrawing what a designer is responsible for.
