Background

The BDS Laundry App is a digital solution for residents to efficiently book, track, and manage laundry services, improving accessibility and ease of use. When I joined the project, the app faced usability challenges and lacked a seamless experience for first-time users.

During my time, I led the redesign of the platform to streamline navigation, enhance usability, and introduce intuitive features, ensuring a frictionless experience. I played a key role in auditing the existing flow and crafting a more user-friendly, accessible interface to better serve residents and property managers.

Background

BDS Laundry Systems offers a next-generation digital platform for residents to manage laundry services efficiently. Its ecosystem includes a resident app, a service management dashboard, and smart payment integrations to streamline the laundry experience.

With 1000+ partnered properties, BDS has been a trusted name in laundry management since its launch. Initially catering to property managers and service providers, the platform expanded to support a seamless self-service model for residents, enhancing accessibility and user satisfaction.

Problem Space

With over 200K active monthyl users and growing demand from residential communities, BDS aimed to enhance the user experience of its laundry app. The existing workflow posed challenges in navigation, payment processing, and tracking, leading to frustration among users.

To address this, BDS focused on improving usability, streamlining task flows, and making the platform more intuitive for first-time and frequent users alike.
